 Departmental Aims and Objectives:

 To provide opportunities to study real life businesses and how they are created, operate and grow. The courses cover finance, personnel and recruitment, employment law, customer service and the role of stakeholders in any business. Companies studied have included McDonalds and Tesco.

The 6 th Form Applied GCE course builds on the work done in the Dual Award Applied GCSE and, if combined with Information and Communication Technology, offers a very good route to Further and Higher Education courses in Business and Finance or for a career in business or finance.
