Departmental aims and objectives:
The science department aims to make science enjoyable and relevant to pupils by teaching them science in context. We have an emphasis on developing pupils enquiry and practical skills looking at the history of scienceand other topical issues .
Practical work is integrated when ever possible and pupils have the oppurtunities for extended practical work in the form of investigations
